Maharashtra State Load Despatch Center (MSLDC) is the apex body responsible for the integrated operation of the electricity grid in the State of Maharashtra, constituted under section 31 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

In accordance with the directives of the Honourable MERC (Case Nos. 233 and 239 of 2022, dated 31.03.2023) and the Honourable CERC’s Connectivity and General Network Access to the Inter-State Transmission System Regulations, 2022 (along with subsequent amendments), implemented wef 01.10.2023. All state-level charges are to be administered by the respective State Load Despatch Centers (SLDCs). Accordingly, with effect from the week starting 1st April 2025, including weeks overlapping March and April, the applicable case references for billing shall be: Operating Charges under Case No. 186 of 2024 and Transmission Charges under Case No. 208 of 2024.

To facilitate this, the GNA/TGNA Billing Module has been introduced for managing overall billing related to short-term transactions conducted by the entities. These transactions are compiled and billed on a weekly basis.
